I graduated from Holy Family College in 1999 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I was hired by the Bensalem Township School district as a reading assistant that same year. In the next two years I worked as an interim in 2nd grade, 6th and 7th grade Math and 7th grade Social Studies. I then worked at the middle school level, as a contracted employee, as an English teacher. After taking two years off to raise my children and obtain my Master's degree as a Reading Specialist, I returned to teaching by taking a position teaching 4th grade. I taught 4th grade for four years and then moved to the computer lab this past summer.
